Dress Up

Here we are playing dress up again. I love this dress. Grandma Songer got it for Amelia. It's a Bonnie Jean dress. I found it on Amazon. I love it. It doesn't look like it, but it's made of t-shirt material. So it's very comfy for baby.

Sleeping with Elephant

Amelia loves her Elephant. She likes to have it on her face. When I check on her before I go to bed she usually has it snuggled up to her face. And when I put her down for a nap she goes to sleep faster if I put it on her face. The picture bellow is her doing, not mine. It's so interesting to me that she is so young and already has a habbit she created on her own. I just hope the elephant lasts a long time. I might have to re-stitch it one of these days.

Linda and Billy

Aunt Linda and Uncle Billy came to visit in July. They brought Amelia a really cute set of outfits. She opened the wrapped box the clothes were in. It was fun to see her rip the paper. I had to help her a little. Thank you Billy and Linda! We love to have visitors.

Monkeys and Boobies

Lots of laughs from Amelia today. Jared got her cracking up with the monkey at Grandma and Grandpa Niles house. Then when we were getting her ready for bed tonight I was about to nurse her and I said, "ready for the boobies?" She thought that was the funniest thing ever. So I said it over and over again and she was cracking up.

Gloomy Week in San Diego

The last couple days it has looked like it was going to rain any minute. So we have been INSIDE! I feel like I'm in Cordova or something. So today we took our chances and went to the park... we drove to the park. Normally we walk. But I am now too chicken to get caught out in the rain. We had fun on the swing. See here's the proof. I know, I know.... I said it is gloomy yet here Amelia is wearing sunglasses. Gotta have faith right?

Amelia is quite the reader. Thanks for the fun book Grandma Songer.

Disneyland

ADORABLE baby spotted in the Mickey Mouse House
Amelia's first ride at Disneyland! Ok, it was just the tram to get to the park. But it counts right? She loves the feeling of the wind on her. Do you like the Minnie bow in her hair? I made it on the drive that morning. She was originally wearing a really cute black dress with white polka dots. But when I picked her up from the carseat it was pooped out. Good thing we had this back up outfit. Or DARN! We had a back up outfit so I didn't have an excuse to buy one! Thanks Grandma Niles.
Her first ears. She was so good at keeping them on. I think she really liked them.
Amelia's first ride inside the park.... Jungle Cruise! She loved it. She loved all the rides. Pirates, Haunted Mansion.... oh that's it. 6 hours in Disneyland and we managed 3 rides. Jared got a couple rides on the Star Tours while Amelia was napping.
I just thought it would be neat to take a picture of her up in the sky.
